I like to read a few webcomics here and there and since I'm so fucking cool I'll review some of my favorites for you.
You Damn Kid - Updated weekly
YDK is about childhood and growing up. Especially if your childhood was twisted
and weird. Stories about insane aunts, crazy parents and meetings with jesus
all abound. The humor is definitely on the gross or very wrong side. It's funny
on the average. It isn't updated very regularly, but once a week is a good average.
Sluggy Freelance - Daily
Sluggy is a serial about a guy named Torg and his friend Riff. Torg and Riff have lots of crazy adventures into the unknown. In the last few years they have battled aliens, fought vampires, and been sucked into the dimension of pain. Torg has a pet bunny rabbit named Bun Bun. Bun Bun happens to be evil however. In the life of the series Bun Bun has had an ongoing war with Santa Claus. (since he only gets coal) A rabbit with a switch blade fighting santa is always funny. Unfortunately Sluggy has gone down hill lately...way down hill. But the Archives still rule!!
Wigu - M-F
Wigu is about a family that has nutty adventures. The mom is a high powered lawyer, the daughter a goth, the father writes music for porn and the son (Wigu) is the only sane one. The strip is funny in a cute kind of way, and often features a monkey riding a pig. Which may be the funniest thing ever. Also, Wigu has a superhero friend, topato, which is a potato that is animate, and made out of poison. It's all very odd...
Digital Sweeties - M-F
A comic about life in the Indi scene. OR, a comic about the love between humans and robots. It is a more witty comic than the others. Jokes are about Indi rock, computers, and the desires of robots to "kill all the humans" I really like this one, but I don't know if it is for everyone.
Jerk City - M-F
What the fuck. Are they gay? Why is every joke about cock? What?
Penny Arcade - MWF
A comic about video games!! ANd it's funny! HOLY SHIT...read
it now ... often
8 bit theater - MWF
The character classes from Final Fantasy go on an epic quest for good. To bad they are all total screw ups. Jokes come from the FF games and from D&D. It is really very very funny and is consistently funny. The plot is pretty good to. All Character drawings are actually sprites from old school FF games...how cool is that?
Twisted Kaiju Theater - MWF
Not drawn per say, but is pictures of Godzilla toys. Most jokes
are about poop, and for some reason, when godzilla toys talk about poop it's
funny as hell. It'll make you yell SWEET MONKEY JESUS soon enough!
Well that's the cream of the crop! Hope I have brought a little bit of Joy into
