BATMAN DRINKS HIMSELF BLIND

i've been accused of altering my opinion of the daredevil movie to match that of gillman. granted, i did originally enjoy the movie, but the experience has soured since.

picture the following scenario. you are at a party, and someone introduces you to 100 proof southern comfort. you imbibe, and you are incredibly happy. you declare SoCo your new deity. later in the night, after 15 shots of god, you are leaning against a washing machine ranting about the size of james van der beek's head (JACK O LANTERN!) when you slip in a puddle and dislocate your knee because you are drunk. you no longer like southern comfort as much as you did while it was happening. hrmmm...that's oddly specific.

anyway, the same goes for daredevil. it also applies to other movies i loved the first time around...

• Star Wars Episode Three: Attack of the Inevitable Disappointment

Ben Affleck can only act well when Kevin Smith is holding his choke-chain...and even then it's hit-or-miss. Bullseye gets the inaugural Corky award for most retarded villian...ever.

i will say this about the daredevil movie: it's the most watchable batman movie yet without michael keaton. right down to the shootable grappling hooks and the creepy dungeon. They just got the color of the inexplicably leathery outfit wrong.

i give it 5 out of ten corkys, for being watchable, and still significantly retarded.

well, i've got the site up and running, and that's about all you can ask of a guy who just got dreamweaver today, eh? i'm enjoying it so far, but trust me, the place will look much better once i actually figure out what the fuck i'm actually doing here. typing this paragraph, i just figured out how to change font colors. go figure... now if only i could figure out how to indent the first line.

i probably won't be adding all that much content tonight; i'll probably do just enough to feel stuff out.

anyway, i had an incredibly mediocre day, and i'm not going to say too much about it, becasue then i'd turn into exactly what i hate.

maybe i'll do another update after i finish the page...
